Geremie and Allisia
Geremie and Allisia were married at Christ the King in Mesa, with a reception at the very cool downtown Phoenix Wyndham Hotel on 11/14/09. The Wyndham (formerly The Crowne Plaza) has a beautiful reception room! It was great to be with the bride and groom, and reconnect with some of the folks I've previously photographed at past events...
I love special caring moments... the parent dances were all that and more!
Hodan and Yusuf
Hodan and Yusuf were married in a spectacular 2 day ceremony and reception culminating at the Sheraton Crescent on 11/28/09 in Phoenix, AZ. Everyone was so wonderful and gracious to us. I'm honored to have been asked to photograph this event with all its special ethnic traditions, clothes, and gorgeous people!
Here's a sneak preview!

Tina and Michael
Tina and Michael were married at Ashley Manor in Chandler, AZ on 11/7/09. Ashley Manor is always gorgeous... a garden jewel in the desert. Tina was beautiful in the warm window light...
...and I'm a sucker for hugs! Plus the guys were very GQ!
Ashley Manor did a wonderful job on the flowers...
The reception room reminds me of a Tuscan manor.

Adam and Stacey
Adam and Stacey were married at St. Thomas in Phoenix on 10/24/09. They had planned their wedding and hired me more than a year ago, and I so appreciated it! Stacey was the ideal bride...
Jeff at Ashley Manor and Castle is a great DJ and I always love working with him... you know its going to be a great party!

Janet and Nick
Janet and Nick were married at the Windmill in Florence, AZ on 10/18/09. Janet is a long time friend who helped me so much with advice when I first started in photography! I was so thrilled that of all photographers, she chose me to be with her on her wedding day.
I always have a planning meeting with the bride and groom, and never force them to see each other ahead of time. However, Janet and Nick asked to see each other, and I positioned myself far a way across the pond for that special moment!
The light is fantastic at the Windmill if you schedule your ceremony just before sunset.
...and it was great to see some friends I had previously photographed at weddings!
Anastasia and Jehanigir
Anastasia and Jehanigir were married at Eagle Mountain
in Fountain Hills, AZ on 10/17/09. This was a wonderful
wedding day that blended two very warm and fun families
that come from very different cultures. Anastasia flew her
parents and friends in from Russia, and Jehanigir's ethnic
Pakistani family were in traditional garb... they were so
much fun!

Ehren and Meghan
Ehren and Meghan were married at the Boojum Tree in Phoenix, AZ on 10/3/09.
This was a such a fun day because of the easy going nature of our bridal party, followed by a wild reception in the Gazebo of the Boojum Tree. The Boojum Tree has so many varied and colorful opportunities for photography!

Jeff and Nicole
Jeff and Nicole were married on 9/26/09 at St. Timothy in Mesa, Arizona. St. Tim's is a beautiful but difficult church to photograph because of the variable lighting. I do like that we can photograph from above, and that makes for awesome images.
At Val Vista Lakes, Nicole was styling and Jeff was cool "GQ"!
Our bride and groom asked for a beach pic, and the bridal party jumped in!
